91st ANNUAL CONFERENCE


This year's Annual General Meeting and Conference will be held in Auckland on Wednesday, 30th of May.

The Awards Dinner will take place on the following evening - Thursday, 31st of May.

The Conference and Awards Dinner venue is the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 128 Albert Street, Auckland City.

Carparking is available at the Atrium Carpark next door. For more information see their website www.atriumcarpark.co.nz.

The room rates for accommodation at the Crowne Plaza will change subject to availability, but there are a limited number of rooms available at a special Conference rate of $265 – accommodation costs are additional to the registration fee. Wednesday 30 May

Registration will be from 8.30am and there will be coffee available. The Conference will begin at 9.00am and will finish at approximately 5.00pm.

The Conference format is the same as last year with a variety of short and interesting presentations from Chris Tennent-Brown, The Drug Detection Agency, Foodstuffs and Nielsen.

We have also introduced a Manufacturers Discussion Forum this year in the afternoon prior to the ice cream tasting workshop. Associates are welcome to stay and contribute if they are interested. Manufacturers are invited to forward agenda items for discussion, and an agenda (and possibly discussion papers) will be issued prior to the Conference.

The afternoon session will conclude with the usual ice cream tasting and this year it will be samples from the Best in Coconut category.

Following the ice cream tasting, there will be time to socialise informally with networking drinks and canapes in the foyer outside the Conference room at the Crowne Plaza. There will be no organised activity or dinner but those that want to continue to socialise can do so.

Thursday Evening 31 May

Join us for the Awards Dinner to be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Our MC for the evening will be well-known media personality Kerre McIvor.

The doors will open at 6.30pm and the Awards Ceremony will commence at 7pm. There will be a table seating plan so please indicate on your registration form any seating requests.

The dinner is a set menu so if you have any special dietary requirements can you please note these on your registration form.
