NZ Ice Cream & Gelato Awards Entries Open

NZ Ice Cream & Gelato Awards 2023 entries are open until Friday 30 June.

Chief Judge Jackie Matthews will again lead the talented panel of judges who will assess the entries at Americold in Manukau in the final weekend of July.

This year's 'Best Of' theme is Citrus. Chocolate has been introduced as a permanent new category and includes ice cream, gelato, sorbet and low calorie/frozen yoghurt.

We will share NZ Ice Cream & Gelato Awards 2023 feedback and medal results  with entrants the week starting Monday 14 August. Trophies will be presented at the Awards Cocktail Party in Auckland on Thursday 31 August.

Book Conference & Awards Travel Now

Ice Cream Awards dinner

We understand the impact of costs on all businesses and keeping costs in mind we have devised a format for the NZ Ice Cream Association Conference to ensure members only have to have one night away from home.

This year's NZ Ice Cream Association Conference will run from 10am - 3pm on Thursday 31 August. It will be at the Royal Auckland Golf Club in Papatoetoe, not far from the airport.

A 10am start will allow guests to travel that morning and only require Thursday night accommodation in Auckland. The programme will finish at 3pm to allow guests to get to their accommodation and change for the NZ Ice Cream & Gelato Awards cocktail party which will start at 6pm.

Is there a topic you'd like included on the conference programme? Let us know by emailing Nic or Kathie.

Our recommendation is to book your travel now to get the best deals. Bookings for the conference and the Awards cocktail party will open in July - we'll keep you updated.

AGM 3pm, Thursday 15 June

Join us at the Remuera Golf Club from 3 pm on Thursday 15 June for the NZ Ice Cream Association AGM.

We'll be voting for a new Association President and Vice-President, catching up on out-going Present Karl Tiefenbacher's report and receive the financial report.

The AGM is a great opportunity to catch up with Auckland-based members, stay on for a drink and nibbles following the meeting.

RSVP by Monday 12 June to Karen Ruane info@nzicecream.org.nz. Attend in person or online and Karen will send you a link.
